Click-N-Type is a virtual keyboard designed for anyone with a disability
that prevents him or her from typing on a physical computer keyboard.
As long as the person can control a mouse, trackball or other pointing
device, he or she can send keystrokes to virtually any Windows
application or DOS application that can run within a window.
Standing Frame – Similar
to a lectern, except the standing frame provides torso support. Torso
support often allows a person who normally needs assistance to
weight-bear the ability to do so without assistance. Frame provides work
surface allowing freedom of upper body movement while standing. Made
from wood.
Desktop Lazy Susan –
The desktop Lazy Susan provides easy access to files and supplies on
many desktops. Ideal for persons with limited range of motion.
Receptionist Mat - Ideal
for the visually impaired, this mat is used to signal the presence of a
visitor. Placed directly on the floor or under existing carpet, the
attached alert box will signal when a visitor "steps and remains
on" the mat for a few seconds. The alert box will not sound due to
passing traffic. This device is especially helpful in situations where
visitors do not immediately notify their presence.
Assistive Lifting Device
– This device was designed to allow aides to lift persons from a
sitting position without putting stress on the persons arms and
shoulders. The lift is placed on the seat prior to sitting down. Because
the lift is not bulky, it may be sat on without irritation.
Deep
Steps – Adding deeper treads to existing steps is
beneficial when a person utilizing a walker will use steps. Deep treads
are added over existing steps without removing original treads. This
allows easy conversion back to original steps when deep treads are no
longer needed.
Step
Lift – Utilizing a deck mount van lift for a residential
step lift is beneficial when a ramp or other type of stair lift is not
practical.
