Solicitation is being made to inventors, developers,
and others, who have assistive devices that can be fabricated utilizing
resources local to the end user.
A review of submitted designs will be made by a focus
group made up of persons with disabilities and project staff. Designs
will be evaluated for attributes such as function, cost, ease of
fabrication, reliability, and maintainability.
Devices approved in the review process will be
developed for publication on this site by the project staff. Project
staff may provide fabrication drawings if required, and make design
improvements when deemed necessary.
Inventors may receive royalties from the sale of their
designs if they desire.
